The National House of Social Insurance (CNAS) completed the operations to finance the social benefits for this month. The transfers came to 2.116 billion lei, IPN reports.

There were distributed all the amounts for paying all types of pensions, financial support, death benefit, one-off assistance, allowances intended for families with children, maternity allowances, compensations, allowances for temporary incapacity for work, unemployment benefit, newly set pensions and social assistance.

According to the CNAS statistics, the recipients of pensions on January 1, 2021 came to 686,251, of social welfare to 68,889, of allowances intended for families with children to 114,868 and of allowances for temporary incapacity for work to 37,128.
