The National Social Insurance House (CNAS) has extended the deadline for presenting and receiving REV-5 statements concerning insured persons for the second quarter until end-July. According to the current norms, the deadline is July 15, IPN reports.
CNAS president Maria Borta has told IPN that some of the faults in the service’s information capacities and program errors made the institution to extend the deadline so as to facilitate the work of the Moldovan economic entities that have been able to learn several methods of presenting statements.
At the beginning of the year, the companies can submit quarterly statements to the CNAS through the information system E-reporting www.raportare.md, accompanied by the digital signature of the economic entity (issued by the Special Telecommunications Center or the mobile phone carriers Orange and Moldcell).
The quarterly statements can be presented directly to the local social insurance houses in electronic form. Only in this case will the employers be obliged to present the annual report on paper, with the signature of the responsible person.
Maria Borta said that every Friday between 2pm and 4pm, the CNAS instructs economic entities how to access the portal www.raportare.md and to apply the procedure for registering and transmitting REV-5 statements.
The economic entities present statements to the CNAS quarterly. If the employer transfers the social insurance contributions, but does not present the REV-5 statements to the CNAS, this period is not included in the length of service and is not taken into account when the pension or other social benefits are set. Since 1999 until the first quarter of 2013, about 200 companies have not presented REV-5 statements to the National Social Insurance House.
