As many as 3,452 tickets to receive treatment in the country’s sanatoriums were purchased this year for medically insured persons. The National House of Social Insurance (CNAS) specified that 29.9 million lei was spent for the purposes.
The tickets are intended for the following sanatoriums: “Struguraş” in Cocieri village of Dubăsari district, “Bucuria Sind” in Vadul lui Voda town, “Nufărul Alb” in Cahul town, “Codru” in Hârjauca commune of Călăraşi district, and “Dnestr” spa resort in Camenca town, IPN reports.
For economic entities that have a primary trade union organization, sanatorium treatment tickets are transmitted to the National Trade Union Confederation of Moldova to be distributed to trade union organizations. For economic entities that do not have a primary trade union organization, tickets are obtained through CNAS local offices.
So far, 925 tickets were passed on the National Trade Union Confederation, while 1,383 tickets were transmitted to CNAS local offices. In addition, another 1,144 tickets will be distributed for the fourth quarter of this year.
The list of entities that are entitled to treatment tickets in 2024 is published on the official website of CNAS www.cnas.gov.md, in the “Other Social Benefits” section, “Treatment Tickets” subsection.
Sanatorium treatment tickets are granted to insured persons once in three years. The beneficiaries pay 20% of the cost of the ticket directly to the sanatorium cashier (on average 1,740 lei). The other 80% of the cost is covered with funds from the state social insurance budget.
