The National House of Social Insurance (CNAS) announced that on Friday it allocated 255.6 million lei for paying benefits, namely one-off childbirth allowance, child benefit, paternity allowance and allowance for temporary incapacity for work, IPN reports.

The CNAS warns that in accordance with the legislation, the allowances intended for families with children are paid for the previous month. Therefore, the funds allocated today go to pay the benefits for October.

The recipients of allowances intended for participants in the Chernobyl cleanup, lifetime allowances, unemployment benefit and capitalized payments can also collect the welfare.

The holders of bank cards can collect the money from banks, while the other recipients – from any post office, regardless of the domicile.
