CNAM local agencies will have front offices for relations with public

Front offices for relations with the public, which will provide information about the mandatory health insurance, will be set up at the local agencies of the National Health Insurance Company (CNAM). Lilia Onea, head of the CNAM’s Information and Communication with the Media Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the protection of the insured persons is a priority of the action plan for implementing the institutional development strategy for 2013-2017. The opening of front offices for relations with the public has been considered for a period. The citizens will be able to receive the required information without going to different specialists of the CNAM agencies. Another objective that is part of the strategy is to ensure access and improve the quality of medical services, including of the system of assessing and inspecting medical-sanitary institutions. Another objective is to ensure the sustainable development of the funds and to increase the number of holders of obligatory health policies. For the purpose, the functions of the units of the 12 local agencies will be reviewed. The National Health Insurance Company is a state-owned autonomous organization that provides public services nationwide. It has 12 local agencies with the status of branches and 300 employees.
