The General Police Inspectorate announced it forwarded to the National Anticorruption Center (CNA) the inquiry into the flouting of coronavirus rules imputed to the Orhei district administration.
The Orhei authorities have allowed children to attend school despite a nationwide school lockdown that will last at least until February 4. Only 2 of the district’s 47 schools have transitioned to online learning.
The police have issued a number of cease-and-desist orders to the district authorities, to no avail.
