The National Anticorruption Center (CNA) said that all its actions in relation to the production company Media Sapiens are “within the limits of the law”. This comes after its administrator, the media personality Natalia Morari, claimed that “CNA chooses to support the abuse and illegal attacks” on her presidential bid.

“The National Anticorruption Center is examining a notification received from the Money Laundering Prevention and Combating Service concerning certain financial transactions by Media Sapiens. The information requested by the CNA from the company is needed so that this notification can be examined exhaustively”, the CNA told IPN.

On Wednesday, Morari said that she received a request to disclose all Media Sapiens’s financial records from 2022 to the present day, in what she claimed to be “political persecution” of a presidential candidate.
