CNA confiscates files from Foreign Ministry

Officers of the National Anticorruption Center (CNA) carried out an inspection at the head office of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Integration in the morning of May 17 and confiscated a set of documents.

Contacted by IPN, CNA press officer Angela Starinschi said that the Center is probing press reports according to which the Embassy of Moldova in Russia was offered luxury cars, including several Bentleys, to the value of €200,000.

The verification actions had been coordinated with the Ministry’s secretary general Mihai Capatana and Prime Minister designate Iurie Leanca, acting Foreign Minister, said Angela Starinschi.
