CMC tenders permits to new councilors
The Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC) at its meeting on July 9 handed over permits to the five new members that replaced the councilors who became MPs after the April 5 legislative elections, Info-Prim Neo reports.
Earlier, the Councilor approved the withdrawal of the permits of Alexandru Tanase of the PLDM and of Mihai Ghimpu, Corina Fusu, Vadim Cojocaru and Gheorghe Brega of the PL before term.
The new permits were tendered to Valeriu Cotaga, substitute candidate on the list of the Democratic Party of Moldova (the councilors of the Liberal-Democratic faction entered the CMC on the PDM’s list – e.n.), and to Ludmila Vicol, Anatolie Cebotari, Corneliu Pantea and Tudor Cernenco, who were candidates on the list of the Liberal Party.
The faction of the PLDM headed now by Ghenadie Gumanschi remained with three councilors.
The PDM faction in the CMC will be represented by Valeriu Cotaga and Oazu Nantoi.
