The secretary of the Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC) Valeriu Didencu and two councilors were arrested in the afternoon of May 25 on charges of passive corruption, influence peddling and misuse of power, IPN has learned from the National Anticorruption Center.

The investigative procedures go on. Press officer of the Chisinau City Hall Vadim Branzaniuc confirmed that searches are carried out in the office of the Mayor General of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca.
