Chisinau Municipal Council (CMC) could approve, at its next extraordinary meeting, allocation of the additional amount of162,100 lei for children’s meals in specialised schools, after on 13 March the Commission for budget, economy, finance and local public patrimony approved the decision draft regarding the revise of the budget for 2006. At the beginning, there were not foreseen in the decision draft money for this purpose, the amount being redirected of the purchase of the equipment for schools’ kitchens of the municipality, for which was foreseen 1,237 million lei. During the meeting of the commission, the head of the General Education, Youth and Sport Department of the Municipal Council of Chisinau, Alexandru Roman, explained that as result of allocations, the children of specialised schools would be fed of 12.5 lei and not 7.5 lei as it was approved before. Roman required for many times allocations of additional resources for appropriate meals of children of specialised schools. Previously, for meals of children of specialised schools there were allotted of the municipal budget for this year 252,000 lei.
