The workers in the capital city until January 20 will intervene more often to empty the garbage bins and to clean up the areas that house activities during the winter holidays. The issue was discussed in the ordinary Monday meeting of officials of Chisinau services and divisions, IPN reports.

Ion Burdiumov, who manages the Public Amenities Division, said an emergency response group will be created for the period to monitor the cleanup works in the Great National Assembly Square and other places.

Mayor of Chisinau Ion Ceban asked for a report on the cleanup in the municipality and on the available waste removal equipment.
