The spring cleanup scheduled for this Saturday in a host of parks and squares in Chisinau has been postponed due to rainy weather, as it would have likely affected attendance by the general public invited by the municipality to volunteer.
The effort has been postponed until next week, concomitantly with the municipal cleanup of courtyards and public amenities around apartment blocks.
The municipality is inviting members of the public to join both activities, which are part of the “General Spring Cleanup” taking place this year from March 4 to April 26.
