Classes to be introduced for children in Balti Hospital
Children hospitalized in the pediatric phtisiopneumology ward of the Balti Municipal Hospital will go to classes at the the institution. Beginning on October 1, the Ministry of Education in agreement with the administrations of boarding schools from Balti will bring in teachers to with the hospitalized children, Info-Prim Neo reports.
According to a press release of the Ministry of Education, beginning with 2012, the Balti Municipal Council decided to close the school that was responsible for the education of children hospitalized in the child psychiatry ward and the pediatric phtisiopneumology ward of the Balti Hospital and to fire the teachers. As a result, the Ministry of Education assumed the responsibility to ensure the children’s right to education.
Currently, there are 17 children in the pediatric phtisiopneumology ward of the Balti Hospital.
