The civil protection services of the Republic of Moldova will test during two days the population’s alert systems in case of danger. According to the Department of Exceptional Situations (DES), on June 15 and 16, in all the localities of the Republic of Moldova periodically the danger signals for: chemical, radioactive or natural calamity accidents will be turned on. According to the quoted sources, this is a planned and complex verification of the centralized alert system of Moldova. DES draws attention on the necessity of acting calm, despite the “infernal sound of the sirens”. More, the organizers recommend to the heads of institutions, organizations and enterprises not to interrupt the work process and to explain to the employees that the sirens are turned on only for checking. According to the quoted sources, in Chisinau alone will function 120 sirens, installed in streets, enterprises, education institutions.
