The aviation industry started to use the summer timetable and regular flights to Nice, France, as of April 26, are among the novelties of this summer. The flights will be operated until October 25 three times a week, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, by Air Moldova. The same airline and also Fly One will operate regular flights to Turkey’s Izmir on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from May 18 until October 5, IPN reports.
Wizz Air extended its flight area and will operate flights to several new destinations such as Dortmund, Germany, as of March 31 until October 23, on Wednesday and Sunday, one regular flight, on Tuesday and Saturdays, to Germany’s Memmingen from April 2 to September 14 and then during October 1-26, and also a regular flight to Copenhagen, Denmark, between April 2 and June 11, on Tuesday and Saturday.
Turkish Airlines will operate a flight to Dalaman, Turkley, during May 25 – October 15, and another one to Friedrichshafen, Germany, between September 17 and 28.
Air Moldova, Aeroflot, S7 and Fly One will together provide 63 flights a week to and from Moscow, Air Moldova, Wizz Air UK and Fly One - 21 flights a week to London, Air Moldova and Wizz Air – ten flights a week to Rome, while Air Moldova, Wizz Air and Fly One – nine flights a week to Paris. Air Moldova, Fly One, Turkish Airlines and AtlasJet will operate 25 seasonal flights a week to Antalya.
According to the Civil Aviation Authority, aviation in Moldova sees an upward trend as regards the number of flights, passengers and destinations. A number of 41 destinations will be available in 2019.
The summer program is applied since the last Sunday of March until the last Sunday of October.
