Civic Congress stages own information campaign in central Chisinau on November 3

The Civic Congress has announced that it will carry out its own information campaign in the Great National Assembly Square on November 3, among the participants in the demonstration organized by the government coalition. In a news conference at IPN, Pavel Gavrilov, the representative of the Civic Congress, said the people will be informed about the real situation in the country. The activist assured that no provocations will be launched.

In the news conference, Pavel Gavrilov was accompanied by Svetlana Pogorila, who says that her three grandchildren are beaten by their father, while the authorities do not protect them. Pavel Gavrilov said the story of this woman will be related to the people and presented as an example of the government’s inaction.

Svetlana Pogorila told the journalists that her daughter and her three grandchildren have been subject to domestic violence for three years. “The law enforcement bodies and the Moldovan legislation cannot protect the rights of a child,” said the woman.

Svetlana Pogorila called on those who intend to go to the Great National Assembly Square on November 3 to think well who they want to support as a system that works badly can affect them too. “The government coalition adopts laws that protect the sexual minorities, but do not protect the children,” she stated.

The parties of the Pro-European Coalition will stage a public assembly in the central square of Chisinau on November 3 to promote the country’s European course.
