City Hall will resume issuing authorisations for changing purpose of rooms
The Chisinau City Hall will again give authorisations for changing the purpose of rooms and urbanism certificates for re-systematising the rooms and creating additional entrances.
Mayor General Dorin Chirtoaca ordered that the ordinances to stop changing the purpose of the residential rooms and to ban the legalisation of documents allowing additional or separate entrances to rooms with any purpose, issued by the former interim mayors Vasile Ursu and Veaceslav Iordan in June 2006 and April 2007, be cancelled.
The present administration of the capital argued that a lot people ask the City Hall to let them change the residential rooms into rooms with a different purpose and to be allowed to build additional entrances to the building. The local authorities also said that the regulations concerning the authorisation and changing of the purpose of the constructions approved by a decision of 2000 were suspended by the given ordinances.
Dorin Chirtoaca instructed the General Division of Architecture, Urbanism and Land Relations to issue authorisations for changing the purpose of rooms according to the procedure stipulated in the Government’s Regulations, while the urbanism certificates for re-systematising the rooms and creating additional entrances to buildings will be issued in compliance with the urbanity norms regarding the location of constructions and the functioning of the pedestrian network.
