City Hall of Chisinau annuls estate certificate on the name of police major Constantin Domnisor

The City Hall of Chisinau municipality annulled estate certificate for an apartment on the name of Constantin Domnisor. The interim Mayor, Vasile Ursu says that the apartment will be administrated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs which will solicit from the City Hall another certificate on the name of the same or another person. Vasile Ursu recognized that the Dwelling Department is guilty of breaking rules of distributing an estate certificate. The interim mayor mentioned that as a result of investigations, no repartition request signed by Domnisor or another employee of MAI was found. As a consequence, the head of the Department, Mihai Solcan was punished according to the regulations in force and the specialist Dumitru Stoicev considered as the main responsible person in this case will be dismissed, Ursu said. The dispute referring to the apartment which was reserved for Domnisor emerged when he insisted to take it into his property. Shortly after his request, at the window of his apartment a grenade exploded. Domnisor accuses the minister of Internal Affairs of this attack and claims it to be a “murder attempt”. Penal proceedings were initiated on this case. Several opposition MPs solicited suspending the minister during investigations, but the Commission for National Security, Defense and Public Order of the Parliament rejected these proposals at the meeting of October 12.
