The municipality will soon announce a competition to fill the post of Secretary of the Chisinau City Council (CMC), left vacant by Vladimir Sarban. The Council on Thursday decided to discharge Secretary Vladimir Sarban in connection with his fresh appointment to the post of Centru district head. Nadejda Ivanova was designated to serve as acting Secretary until the vacancy is filled. Vladimir Sarban held the seat of CMC Secretary for more than 12 years.
