The candidate for President of the Party “Dignity and Truth Platform” Andrei Năstase today voted for a healthy Moldova where the children will be happy and will not have to go abroad, as their parents or grandparents had to. He said the Republic of Moldova until now missed many opportunities and chances and the current day is thus important and with big expectations, IPN reports.

Andrei Năstase called on all the citizens to go to the polls and vote for a Moldova to be, an educated Moldova in which one wants to live. According to him, the citizens will today choose exactly what they need, not what they are told on TV and through social networking sites. The candidate called on the voters to be watchful and not to allow fraud.

At the polling station, Andrei Năstase came together with his daughter and wife. The candidate’s wife said she voted for a decent and courageous President and is hopeful that things in the country will change after the elections.

The polls are open until 9pm. If need be, their program will be extended for two hours. Eight candidates are running for the presidency.
