Citizens of India, Nepal and Sri Lanka will not need invitations to visit Moldova

The citizens of India, the Federal Democratic Republic of Nepal and the Socialist Democratic Republic of Sri Lanka will no longer need invitations to obtain visits to enter the Republic of Moldova, IPN reports, quoting a Government decision.

The decision is aimed at increasing the number of tourists who visit the Republic of Moldova and to increase the country’s investment attractiveness before globally important players.

Currently, the citizens of 100 states can travel to Moldova visa free. The citizens of 57 states need visas, while the citizens of 35 countries need invitations to get a visa.
