Citizens can contribute to elect 'Clean Parliament'
The Moldovan citizens can contribute to elect a 'Clean Parliament' by 'cleansing' the lists of candidates in the April 5 elections, Info-Prim Neo has learnt from a communique of a group called “The Civic Initiative for a Clean Parliament”.
The group encourages citizens to offer compromising informations about the candidates not deserving to reach the future Parliament. They may send their information to moldovacurata@gmail.com.
The data offered by citizens will be thoroughly verified by a team of professional journalists monitoring the lists of candidates for a seat in the Parliament.
The group's site is www.moldovacurata.md, and they also have a FAQ application on it.
The group was created by the Participative Democracy Association, the Independent Press Association, the Corruption Analysis and Prevention Center, the Independent Journalism Center, the Journalistic Investigation Center, Acces-info and the Soros Foundation-Moldova.
