Citizens can check online if they have tax obligations to pay income tax. This can be done in a few steps from the mobile phone or other gadgets. The deadline for submitting the income tax return for 2024 is April 30, 2025, IPN reports.

According to the State Tax Service, for authentication it is necessary to carry out the following steps:

- access the "Taxpayer's Personal Cabinet" on the portal www.sfs.md;

- click the "Login" button;

- click the "M-Pass Authentication’ button;

- select the authentication method;

- click the "Services" button;

- access the "Taxpayer's current account" service;

- generate the "Detailed current account" report.

Also, individuals can check the information about the taxes they need to pay at any local fiscal office.
