Sergei Lebedev, the executive secretary and the chairman of the Executive Committee of the Community of Independent States (CIS), pays a working visit to Moldova on February 9 and 10, Info-Prim Neo has learnt from the Moldovan Foreign Ministry. The visit takes place in the wake of Moldova's holding the rotating presidency of the CIS, from January 1, 2009, reads a communique, disclosing no other details. On January 30, 2009, Moldova presented the CIS Executive Committee the priorities of its presidency for this year, especially referring to economic projects, as instituting a viable free trade regime within the CIS, intensifying the cooperation in energy and transportation, and carrying out a vast program with the Youth Year within the CIS.
