CIS and EU find Moldova attractive, Valeriu Lazar
The cooperation within the Commonwealth of Independent States and the European integration are Moldova's strategic objectives. The effective connection of these two objectives will allow Moldova and the partners from the East and the West to build a sustainable and consistent platform, Minister of Economy Valeriu Lazar said in the International Economic Forum of the CIS Countries. According to him, the CIS and the EU find Moldova economically attractive, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting a communique from the Economy Ministry.
The Ministry says that the free trade agreement with the EU, the institution of new denationalization formulas, especially the public-private partnership, the adoption of the law on industrial parks, the efforts made to improve the investment legislation and the simplification of the bureaucratic procedures allow implementing mutually advantageous economic projects fin the bilateral cooperation between the CIS and the EU countries and Moldova.
Valeriu Lazar said Moldova is always ready to consider new initiatives, cooperation mechanisms and integration instruments aimed at strengthening and modernizing the economic potential of Moldova and the countries that signed bilateral agreements with it.
The International Economic Forum of the CIS Countries themed “20 years together – cooperation experience and prospects” is held in Russia's capital, Moscow.
