Cigarettes abandoned on bank of Prut

Border guards of the Ungheni checkpoint located on the Moldovan-Romanian border discovered parcels with 7,500 packs of Moldovan cigarettes, Info-Prim Neo has learned from the Border Guard Service.
A patrol supervising the border found a rubber boat on the bank of the Prut River and 12 parcels with cigarettes wrapped in polyethylene inside it.
The boat and the cigarettes were confiscated and will be transmitted to the Ungheni Police Commissariat. The case is investigated by the Border Guard Service of Moldova and the Romanian Border Police.
