The Christmas tree that the municipal authorities will set up in the Great National Assembly Square will set off for Chisinau in the evening of November 28. The fir tree was bought in Ivano-Frankivsk region of Ukraine and is about 29 meters in height.

Head of the Public Relations Division of the Chisinau City Hall Vadim Brinzaniuc has told IPN that the delegation from Chisinau is already at the scene.

The festivity to inaugurate the Christmas tree was set to start at 5:30pm on December 1.
