While the rest of world’s capital cities already installed their Christmas trees, in Chisinau the installation works are planned for the next Monday, December 18. The interim head of the Green Spaces Management, Eliferie Haruta told Info-Prim Neo that the Christmas tree which will be installed in the Great National Assembly Square had already been purchased and is in Talmaza village, Causeni raion. He is 23-25 meter tall. According to Haruta, the tree will be transported to Chisinau by the end of this week. Also, another 3 smaller trees will be installed around the central one. The civil servant did not specify how many lights and garlands will be needed, as well as the amount of money for their purchase, saying that all the decorations are being purchased at the moment. The Christmas Tree lightning ceremony will take place on December 23.
