This year Christmas lights will be lit on more streets in Chisinau. Installation works are now in full swing and they are expected to be completed by the end on November. Anatol Aparatu, chief engineer at the municipal lighting agency Lumteh, told Info-Prim Neo that this year festive lights will adorn the streets Pushkin, Banulescu-Bodoni, Ismail, Gheorghe Asachi, Alecu Russo, Miorita, Soseaua Hinceşti, Grigore Vieru Boulevard and others. The lights installed on these streets will be exactly like those that were installed last year along Dacia Boulevard and the Viaduct. The trees outside the Government building and along Stefan cel Mare Boulevard will be adorned with decorative bulbs and lights will also be lit in Stefan cel Mare Park and in the Cathedral Square. Last year the Municipality spent about 0.9 million lei on festive lighting and on the adornment of the city's main Christmas Tree.
