The Christmas Fair will be organized in the perimeter of 31 august St between the streets Bănulescu-Bodoni and Pushkin in Chisinau this year as well. The Cabinet approved the allocation of 8 million lei for the purpose on November 8.

Pavel Filip said that by the Christmas Fair set up the previous year, Chisinau was brought in line with the European capitals and the created atmosphere delighted all the citizens, including over 5,000 children who had free access to recreational activities. “The good news is that the Christmas Fair returns. I think that beyond all the problems we face in the Republic of Moldova and the effort we make to solve these, we should also lean to amuse ourselves and rest as those in Europe. I’m confident that the organizers will offer us nice moments this year too,” stated the Premier.

Thus, a large-scale artistic program and different events will be staged in Chisinau during December 15 and January 15. As last year, children from placement centers and socially deprived families and also from the left side of the Nistru will be able to visit the Christmas Fair with the Government’s assistance.

According to the Government, the Christmas Fair last year recorded over 1 million visits (entrances).
