Christmas Caravan to reach 3,500 children

From December 12 until December 22, the Christmas Caravan will daily set off from the Great National Assembly Square of Chisinau, except Sundays, to communities all over the country. This year the organizers chose to visit daily by one residential institution and villages where there are no schools, IPN reports.

Contacted by IPN, Silvia Bradutanu, manager at “Clipa Siderala” Foundation, which stages the charity event, stated that this year the Christmas Caravan will reach almost 3,500 children in seven residential institutions, a professional school, a rehabilitation center and 13 villages without a school.

Silvia Bradutanu called on the people of good faith to bring presents and clothes for children in the central square of Chisinau between 8:30am and 09:00am, when the bus leaves for destinations. “The Christmas Caravan brings warmth, joy and magic with entertaining contests and presents to children,” said Silvia Bradutanu.

The charity event, which reached its 21st edition, is organized by “Clipa Siderala” in partnership with the General Division of Education, Youth and Sport of Chisinau and the National Patrolling Inspectorate.
