A bus of the Christmas Caravan full with presents set off on December 14. The children from the boarding school in Falesti and from the vocational school in Valea Norocului village of Sangerei district will be the first to enjoy the atmosphere of the winter holidays, Info-Prim Neo reports.
”The tradition does not change. We go to the most distant settlements of Moldova together with Chisinau high school students. The kindhearted people who donate candies also go with us,” said volunteer of the Children’s Foundation “Clipa Siderala” Ana Sandu.
She also said that owing to the sponsors and people of good faith, they managed to collect candies, fruit, juices, clothes and toys.
On Wednesday, the volunteers of “Clipa Siderala” were joined in by students of the Chisinau high schools “Alexandr Pushkin” and “Nicolae Iorga”. They prepared parcels with presents and an artistic program for the children. Magicians and professional photographers will also go to the children in Falesti and Sangerei. The bus will be accompanied by a traffic police car.
Ana Sandu said those who want can give clothes, candies and other presents for children to charity until December 23. The Christmas Caravan’s bus goes from the Great National Assembly Square in Chisinau to Moldovan villages at 9am daily, except for Sunday.
