Chisinau Youth Orchestra conductor Andriano Marian said the orchestra this summer will have the most complex program that pursues two goals – to educate and promote young musicians and to gathered together as many consumers of music of a high quality as possible. Chisinau Youth Orchestra decided to stage a unique program in summer because it is the most passive period from cultural viewpoint, IPN reports.
Andriano Marian noted that the program includes a masterclass of violin playing to support the young violinists of the orchestra. The opening concert, of classical and pop music together, will be given in the Chisinau Park “Dendrariu” on July 17.
The conductor of Chisinau Youth Orchestra also said that the summer project will involve talented young people who study abroad and will include a summer camp where the young people will produce something new. As a result, there will be staged two concerts in Chisinau. By one of these, there will be launched the National Orchestra. The brand Chisinau Youth Orchestra will not disappear, but a national orchestra needs to be created because Chisinau Youth Orchestra includes Moldovan young people from both banks of the Nistru River. “The orchestra now has 71 young members. This is the highest number so far,” said Andriano Marian.
Afterward, Chisinau Youth Orchestra will leave for Romania to give a concert together with youth orchestras of other states.
Within the program that lasts until August 1, Chisinau Youth Orchestra will also produce a video clip to present the young musicians in different states and in different settlements of Moldova with the aim of offering the people a video that would be watched with pleasure and in which one would find values.
In the end, there will be held a concert together with Catalin Josan and, possibly, Nicoleta Nuca, who would interpret pop music in the style of Chisinau Youth Orchestra.
