Music lovers in Chisinau are invited to three concerts of classical music. Twenty young musicians who study around the world formed Chisinau Youth Orchestra and will perform under the slogan “You're welcome, CYO”. The concerts are scheduled for August 22, 23 and 24, IPN reports.

Adriano Marian, CYO founder, told a press conference that the orchestra has 65 members and the average age is 19.5 years. “They are very young and very ambitious. The orchestra reunites Moldovan musicians who study abroad and the best students of the Ciprian Porumbescu Music School. They will perform the masterpieces of the world's most famous composers, such as Stravinsky, Tchaikovsky, Piazzolla and others. It's a big project for Moldova, with quality music”, said Marian.

The concert on August 22 will be organized in the Metropolitan Cathedral Square at 8 AM. Access will be free. Gabriel Bebeselea from Romania, CYO founder Adriano Marian and Mihail Sechkin from Moldova will conduct the orchestra.

On August 23, at 7 PM, the concert will take place at the Organ Hall and the program includes Felix Mendelssohn's Concerto for Violin and Strings in Re minor, Astor Piazzolla's Four Seasons of Buenos Aires, Piotr Tchaikovsky's Romeo and Julietta, and Igor Stravinky's The Firebird, conducted by Gabriel Bebeselea.
