Chisinau young man dies after touching high tension cable
A 20-yeasr-old man was electrocuted in Chisinau on June 2. Eufalia Negreata, doctor-coordinator at the Emergency Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the tragedy happened on a private building site on Dacilor Street in Ciocana district.
The father threw an electric cable to the son through the window, not knowing that it was under high tension. The young man was rushed to the Saint Trinity Church. The reanimatologists tried to bring him to life, but all in vain.
A 54-year-old woman and a 60-year-old man died of arterial hypertension. A woman in her 70s was found dead in the house. Allegedly, she died as a result of a cardio-vascular accident.
An eight-year-old boy suffered severe traumas in a car accident in front of the school from Cuza Voda Boulevard. The child was hospitalized to Valentin Ignatenco Hospital with cranial-cerebral traumas, cerebral contusion and, possibly, rupture of the spleen.
A minor of 16 was admitted to the same hospital. The boy was driving a bicycle and was struck by a Rover in Durlesti town. The cyclist suffered multiple injuries and excoriations of the legs and hands.
A 54-year-old woman was hit by a taxicab at about 9.00 on Drumul Viilor Street. The driver left the scene of the accident. The victim was taken to the Emergency Hospital with cranial-cerebral trauma and mental shock.
Yesterday, the Emergency Service dealt with 724 appeals, including 70 cases of acute viral infections, 77 causes of trauma and 4 brain strokes.
