The Polish official said that the signing of the Convention sets ground for the development of relations between our administrations. After signing the Convention in 2006 the parties shared their experience in several domains like economy, social and cultural life. At the same time, the Polish part is helping Chisinau get more foreign investments and European funds, including financing the reconstruction of the wastewater treatment plant. According to Henryk Mariej Wozniak, although the province has a population of only 1 mln citizens it attracted more than EUR 1 bln of investments in a 2.5-3 year term.
