Chisinau water supplier opens Information Centre

Chisinau’s main water supplier Apa-Canal JSC opened a modern costumer information centre on 38 Albisoara Street. At the opening ceremony, Apa-Canal manager Constantin Becciev, told reporters that this event marks the first step in the direction of implementing the integrated quality system, which will offer the consumers improved services. Mihai Golban, Apa-Canal’s PR manager, said that water consumers will be able to find at the centre all the information related to water supply and will be offered assistance in solving their problems. New clients will be able to conclude here water supply contracts. The operators of the centre will also provide information on the types of water meters. The centre was created in order to reduce the company’s bureaucracy. Earlier, the costumers had to pass 6 or 8 offices in order to arrange their documents or solve their problems, Golban added. Attended the launch ceremony, city Councillor Mihal Severovan said that the consumers’ demands as to the quality of water and sewerage can be only attained if the Chisinau Municipal Council fixes realistic water and sewer rates. Ten desks will operate within the Information Centres. The centre will be open on workdays between 9 AM and 4 PM, with a lunch break.
