The joint stock company “Apa-Canal Chisinau” is staging the Open Doors Day at its strategic facilities: Nistru Water Station, Sludge Treatment Facilities and Wastewater Treatment Plant of Chisinau. Thus, during March 19–23, those who want can visit these places to see the path covered by the water up to the homes of the inhabitants of Chisinau and how the wastewater is treated. The event is held in connection with World Water Day that is celebrated on March 22, IPN reports.  

In a press release, the water supplier said its specialists will explain all the technological processes underwent by the water for this to be safe to drink to the visitors. The visitors could also pose questions about the water treatment process and could take pictures. They will be invited to discussions with specialists of “Apa-Canal Chisinau” for an exchange of opinions.
