The trolleybuses running on route No. 5 resumed work today, September 3, IPN reports, quoting a communique of the Chisinau City Hall. They travel from the Trolleybus Terminal No. 2 along Sos. Muncesti St and Iu. Gagarin Blvd (Chisinau Train Station) and back on the same route.

The trolleybus route No. 5 was suspended for the period of the works to lay the pluvial drainage system on Constantin Negruzzi Blvd up to Iu. Gagarin Blvd.

The trolleybuses running on route No. 20 will now have a different itinerary. They will travel from the Trolleybus Terminal No. 2 along the streets Burebista, Sarmizegetusa, Decebal, and Iu. Gagarin and back along Sos. Muncesti St up to the Trolleybus Terminal No. 2.

The decision to restore route No. 5 and to modify the itinerary of route No. 20 was taken following the rise in the number of passengers since September 1.
