Chisinau Trolleybus Company’s accounts unblocked

The accounts of the Chisinau Trolleybus Company have been unfrozen, the enterprise’s head Gheorghe Morgoci announced Monday, Info-Prim Neo reports. The accounts were unblocked after the lawsuit filed by the Ukrainian company Electroplus, which claims debts of 15 million lei from the Chisinau Trolleybus Company, was suspended for a year. Mayor General of Chisinau Dorin Chirtoaca said the unblocking of the accounts represented an armistice, not the resolving of the problem. He expressed his concern that swindlers may be behind this suit. The mayor said the 26 seats of the only Belarusian trolleybus running in Chisinau for six years will be replaced with soft, blue seats by the producers from Belarus. The producers will also provide paint for renovating the trolleybus. In 2011, the Chisinau administration will buy 102 new Belarusian trolleybuses in four installments.
