Incorrect information is presented over the movement of minibuses, said the acting head of the Public Transport and Communications Division of Chisinau Lilian Copaci. He noted that the private carriers threaten to remove the minibus routes that stopped work at the start of this February, IPN reports.

According to Lilian Copaci, no minibuses worked on route No. 129 (Dumbrava) and route No. 135 (Truşeni) as of February 1. Route No. 129 was replaced with route No. 103 to ensure the transportation of passengers from and to Dumbrava and solutions are being looked for to provide the people living on Codrilor St in Durleştt with transport. The other suspended routes had by only several minibuses running on them or were replaced by trolleybus routes.

The Public Transport and Communications Division assures that the municipality has enough units of transport to cope with the situation if the minibuses are withdrawn.
