Chisinau to host Romanian Economy Days in late June
From June 27 to July 1, the Chisinau-based International Exhibition Center “Modexpo” will host the “Romanian Economy Days in Moldova” exhibition. The event is organized by “Romexpo” JSC.
According to the press centre of “Romexpo”, the exhibition will draw together 16 Romanian prestigious companies to exhibit latest generation industrial products an advanced technologies. The event is to be supplemented by an economic mission at which are to participate 8 more companies in food industry, agriculture, cosmetics, footwear, textiles, equipments, etc.
Within the exhibition, on June 30, at the IEC „Moldexpo” will be held the Moldovan-Romanian Business Forum, to present the results of the activity of promoting trade relationships between these two countries. At the Forum will be examined possibilities of developing Moldovan-Romanian relations and will be identified common interests’ projects.
“The outstanding co-operation with the Romanian companies is consolidated by implementing several important projects for both Moldovan and Romanian economies, fact that strengthens the belief that there is a solid base for intensifying the co-operation, ” the release says.

Romania is on the third place among the most important Molodva’s trade partners, minding the amount of the trade. In 2005, R. Moldova has exported to Romania products amounting to USD 111.7 million, which is 10.2% of Moldova’s total exports, and Romanian products’ import is estimated at USD 257.3 million, 11.2% of the total imports.
