An important investment forum will be held in Chisinau at the start of March in partnership with the World Association of Investment Promotion Agency (WAIPA) and the International Finance Corporation (IFC), Moldova Investment Attraction and Export Promotion Organization (MIEPO) executive director Denis Jenis Jelimalai announced Tuesday, Info-Prim Neo reports. “It will be a large-scale event that will involve international companies, investment attraction agencies and chambers of trade. We thus must make sure that the forum is organized at the best level. We will cooperate with the Public Property Agency and the private sector,” said the MIEPO director. According to him, the business forums and missions will be continued in 2013. They may be lower in number, but with a higher effect. Within these events, there will be promoted certain investment projects in certain countries. A sum of 1.2 million lei was earmarked for business forums and missions. Another 1.6 million lei will be used to finance the participation of national producers in international fairs and exhibitions, while 700,000 lei will go to perform feasibility and market studies.
