“Floarea Pacii” (Flower of Peace) Song Contest will take pace in Chisinau on September 21. The event is organized by the IRFF ONLUS Philanthropic Association, the Federation of Moldovan Women for World Peace and “Clopoteii de Argint” (Silver Bells) Association. According to the organizers, Moldovan children aged from 7 to 15 will compete in “Floarea Pacii” Song Contest, including children from the Transnistrian region and UTA Gagauzia, as well as from Romania and Ukraine. The contestants will perform live, accompanied by an orchestral, magnetic or digital audio support. Peace is the main topic of the songs performed by the young singers. The jury will have to take into account the content and the essence of the message expressed by the author, artistry, stage conduct, and the melodic expression of the performance. The contest will end up in an awarding ceremony. The Grand Prix will constitute 1000 lei, the Firs Prize – 800, Second Prize – 600, and Third Prize – 500. The organizers promise to offer other special prizes, granted by sponsors.
