Chisinau to get over 5m lei following allocation of 14 lots for selling places

More than 5 million lei will be transferred to the budget of Chisinau as a result of the allocation of 14 lots on which to place ambulatory trading units in the municipality at the 18th open tender contest of the kind held on Monday, IPN reports.

Thirteen of the 30 exhibited lots for different type of kiosks were excluded due to the absence of bids, while three lots were excluded by the bids assessment commission because the presented documents weren’t compliant.

The lots are assigned for a five-year period. The tender contests are staged by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Republic of Moldova.

A new tender contest to allocate lots owned by the municipality for non-residential purposes was held recently. One more such contest will take place on December 21. The contest is open to private individuals and legal entities from Moldova and to foreign investors.
