The companies Edilitate and Exdrupo won municipal contracts in a public tender for the maintenance, marking and repair of the Chisinau municipality's roads, municipal transportation chief Veaceslav Tarna has told Info-Prim Neo. The entire amount of work, including road repair, marking and snow clearing, had been divided into 6 lots, for the city's 5 districts plus the suburbs. Veaceslav Tarna says that after the contracts are approved by the Public Procurement Agency, the contracts will be registered with the Treasury and the work may begin. The winners were selected from 8 eligible bidders. This was the first time that the City Hall offered all the roadwork companies the opportunity to participate in a public tender, said Veaceslav Tarna.
