The official Chisinau requested to convoke a working meeting between the chief negotiators for the Transnistrian settlement process on behalf of Chisinau and Tiraspol. The meeting in the 1+1 format is to center on the management of the energy crisis, IPN reports.

“Given the expanding energy crisis and the necessity of discussing problematic aspects, clarifying technical aspects and identifying solutions to problems that appeared recently all over the country, Chisinau asked to convoke a working meeting between the chief negotiators for the Transnistrian settlement process on behalf of Chisinau and Tiraspol,” stated the Reintegration Policies Bureau.

Representatives of responsible institutions from both sides of the Nistru River and of the mediators and observers to the talks in the 5+2 format are invited to the discussions.
