Chisinau resident sets himself on fire
A 47-year-old man living on Alba Iulia St in Chisinau splashed gasoline on himself and set himself on fire. His friends were nearby and managed to put out the fire. The incident happened close to midnight, Info-Prim Neo reports, quoting the coordinating doctor of the Chisinau Ambulance Service Anatol Proca.
The ambulance doctors established the man received second- and third-degree burns on about 20% of the body. The man was hospitalized. The police of Buiucani district are investigating the case.
A man aged 61 living in Durlesti town was taken to Saint Trinity Hospital with mushroom poisoning. He said he picked up the mushrooms in the wood.
A driver was admitted to the hospital with a concussion and backbone trauma after he was involved in a road accident on Mesterul Manole St.
On May 20, the Chisinau Ambulance Service responded to 686 calls, dealing with 56 cases of trauma, 53 cases of acute viral infection, four strokes and 21 deliveries.
