A man has fallen this morning from the fifth floor of a Chisinau apartment building. Eufalia Negreata, coordinating doctor at the Chisinau Ambulance Service, has told Info-Prim Neo that the incident happened at about 4.30am on Independentei St. The 59-year-old man went out onto the balcony to smoke a cigarette. Shortly afterward, the neighbors told the family that the man fell down. The ambulance doctors established he had an open fracture of the thigh bone, a cranial-cerebral trauma and contusion of the internal organs. The man was admitted to the reanimatology section of the Emergency Hospital. Tired of life, a man aged 52 stabbed himself in the abdomen. He was rushed to the Emergency Hospital. A woman, 30, was on a visit to her friends when she was stabbed in the thigh. She told the doctors she did not see who stabbed her. Yesterday and last night, the Chisinau ambulance teams traveled to 729 addresses, dealing with 8 strokes, four heart attacks and other cases. Four persons have died, three of whom because of cardiovascular diseases.
